"Sunday Night Youth Service, (3-9-08)"

Let me take a moment to tell you about a Youth department that is exploding at the seams. The Youth/Students Pastor at The Dalton Church Of God Of The Union Assembly, is Rodney Brown. Rodney has a great department that is growing by 'leaps & bounds'. What started with six kids, has now grown to over sixty students. Rodney's doing a great job and they are experiencing a great move of God in their services.
We had an absolutely incredible night this past Sunday Night with Rodney and his Youth Group. My friend Shane Bailey was invited by Rodney to speak at one of their services. I was invited by Shane to lead worship. So, I along with the help of my good friend Erik Hurt, (on drums) and Fran Minchew, (on bass), provided the music. The event was held at the beautiful Ryman Hall Grand Room. It's safe to safe that there were over 100 in attendance. Shane Bailey is a gifted speaker and former youth pastor. He brought a wonderful message to those kids. Four kids raised their hands that they had prayed and asked Jesus to be their Personal Savior during the invitation. It was definitely a special night!
